Best Fibre Broadband Service in Malaysia

There are many fibre broadband packages available, with Maxis, TIME and TM, three majors’ internet service providers in Malaysia.  Each ISP provides good fibre broadband packages. 

Before deciding for any of the service providers, one has to confirm the coverage and availability of the fibre broadband in your area.  To be able to get fibre broadband connection, the ISP will have to setup the data transmitting tower and also the port nearby your neighborhood so that you can get connected with fibre cable.  Once confirm the availability, if you have more than one ISP, you can now decide which ISP offers the best package for you. Key factors in deciding the fibre broadband package is based on download and upload speed, internet quota and also the price. 

TIME Internet package has the most coverage among all.  Being the first and biggest ISP in Malaysia, TM has set food in the internet connection world by providing internet service since the dial up generation, now advancing to the fibre broadband connection.  TIME fibre also has the widest coverage, and there are readily available in most Klang valley, Penang and Johor areas.

There are two packages available for TIME Fibre.  The first Unifi package comes with 30Mbps download speed and 5Mbps upload speed.  The second package comes with 50Mbps download speed and 10Mbps upload speed.  Currently, TIME fibre package does not capped the data usage, thus there will be unlimited download quota.   TIME fibre packages have a 2 years contract, so once you signed up with TIME fibre package, you will have to continue for the next 2 years.  For those that are planning to terminate the package within the 2 years, there will be a RM500 penalty for early termination.  All TIME fibre packages come with HyppTV pack.
